How to Make the Most of Online Casino Loyalty Programs

Online casino players are often told about customer loyalty or VIP programs, but some of them seem so complicated that they don’t seem worth the time. Other players think there’s always a catch, it’s just a way to get players to gamble more.

The truth about online casino rewards programs, however, is that they are relatively simple. Moreover, they are most definitely worth the time to participate.

When players log into All Slots Casino or Jackpot City Casino, they will find the exact same loyalty program on both sides. This is only because both online casinos use the Microgaming platform, but the programs are not connected in any other way.

Even so, this makes it easier to understand the loyalty program on both of these top Canadian online casino websites.

  1. Automatic Entry

The best thing about the loyalty program on Jackpot City and All Slots is that players are automatically entered in upon making an initial deposit. The program is free.

Every slot game spin and blackjack hand, any online game played for real money, will earn Loyalty Points for the player. It happens automatically.

  1. Check Status

Players should regularly check their loyalty status, which can be found as one of the menu options under their screen name in the top right of the home page.

The current status is displayed, as well as the points required to move up to the next level. It also shows how many points can currently be redeemed for free bonus credits.

  1. Loyalty Specials

In that same loyalty menu, there are always games listed under “loyalty specials.” These games are typically new or seasonal slots that pay extra points for playing.

Some are listed only for one day, so it is important to check daily to earn as many points as possible.

  1. Check Loyalty Benefits

The loyalty benefits page shows the status of the player and any options available to earn extra points. It shows a tally of how many daily specials and monthly bonuses have been used.

It also shows the current option of points available for the next deposit. For example, new players at the bronze level are offered 2,500 points for making a first online casino deposit.

  1. Know the Calculations

For the loyalty programs on Jackpot City and All Slots Casino, the points program offers one loyalty point for each dollar wagered. However, bonus credits wagered do not earn points.

The scale of points earned is as follows:

  • All slots except re-spin featured games: 1 dollar earns 1 point
  • Most table games: 5 dollars earn 1 point
  • Sic bo, roulette, and re-spin featured games: 10 dollars earn 1 point
  • Baccarat and most video poker: 20 dollars earn 1 point
  • Blackjack, craps, jacks-or-better, ace-special video poker: 100 dollars earn 1 point

(Re-spin featured games include Book of Oz, Bookie of Odds, Reel Gems, Dragon Dance, Wild Orient, Bikini Party, and Retro Reels.)

When a player accumulates 5,000 loyalty points, they can redeem those for five bonus credits. The points can add up quickly, so it’s important to stay on top of the totals and redeem points when possible.

  1. Monthly Requirements

Players should always be aware of the accumulation periods for loyalty points. For most online casinos, the period is one month. Any unused or unredeemed points at the end of that month may be lost at the end of that period.

Status can also change if a certain level of points accumulation is not maintained. A player may reach a new level this month, but if they reduce the number of points next month, they will revert to the previous level or status.

  1. Don’t Let Points Expire!

For sites like Jackpot City and All Slots Casino, loyalty points have a life of 60 days. If points are not redeemed within 60 days of accumulation, they will expire and disappear. Don’t let all of that hard work go to waste!

  1. Check Emails

Online casinos often send messages to players with information about their loyalty points or with exclusive offers. Those promotions might include double points or other offers that are only advertised via email.

Many emails from an online poker site may be purely advertisements, but it only takes a moment to look at them for pertinent information.

  1. No Cheating!

Occasionally, a player believes he or she can scam a site by letting other people log into their account and play to earn points. This is a violation of the terms and conditions of every online casino, and it can get a player banned for life.

  1. Ask Questions

If information is not readily available, players should feel very comfortable contacting the customer service department to ask. Not sure when points expire? Ask. How to redeem points? Ask.

The sites are there for you, their customers.
