New Game of the Week: Rainforest Magic from Play’n GO

The rainforest, a beautifully green space in nature, a tropical environment where plants and animals thrive. The newest online slot game from Play’n GO is a tribute to that space.

Canadians are especially connected to the outdoors, from wonderous expanses of land to snow-covered mountains. They don’t have much akin to a rainforest in their backyards. But Rainforest Magic can transport them into that lush environment.

Of course, Rainforest Magic also offers a slew of features and slot game excitement, too.

As Play’n GO CEO Johan Törnqvist noted, “Rainforest Magic is a simple, easy-to-play game that is going to delight plenty of players in the market with its fun features and great design.”

About Rainforest Magic

The newest release from Play’n GO is a 5-reel slot game with 3 rows and 25 paylines. The default RTP (return-to-player) is 96.54%.

Players see the jungle abuzz with fireflies and butterflies. The background glows with beautiful flowers that break up the green of the jungle, where vines drape over tree branches and waterfalls flow.

The soundtrack includes some jungle animal noises blended with a cool drumbeat.

Players can set the bet value as low as $0.25. It increases at $0.50 intervals up to $2.50, then skips to $5.00 and quickly up to the maximum bet of $100.00 from there.

When playing at the minimum bet, the payouts for five of a kind for each symbol are as follows:

  • Tiger Wild = $10.00
  • Monkey = $5.00
  • Parrot = $4.00
  • Toucan = $3.00
  • Snake = $2.00
  • Frog = $1.00
  • Blue spade or pink heart = $0.60 each
  • Orange diamond or green club = $0.30 each

The maximum win on Rainforest Magic is 5,000 times the bet.

How to Play Rainforest Magic

The mystery symbol is a purple question mark that can appear on any spin. When the spin ends, it reveals a symbol or a wild.

Most often, the mystery symbols appear in groups, all revealing the same symbol. If a number of them are on a payline, they can pay very well.

If three or more wilds hit the board, they trigger free spins. Players win two free spins for every wild, with a maximum of 30 free spins.

When the bonus round begins, the player chooses a flower out of the four available to reveal how many mystery reels will be present during the free spins. Up to four full reels of mystery symbols can be awarded, which guarantees massive payouts.

During the free spins, the mystery reels change position with each spin. And there are more wilds than usual. With the mystery reels and wilds, every spin holds quite a bit of potential.

Unlike some games wherein the wilds serve only one purpose, Rainforest Magic uses them as the wilds and the keys to free spins.

Where to Play Rainforest Magic

A relatively simple game, Rainforest Magic comes with sounds that match the rainforest environment perfectly. The symbols and all of the colors in the game are quite vivid, with detailed symbols and a jungle that is brighter than most.

This latest Play’n GO game is available on PlayAmo.

Players Still Embracing Demon

Before Rainforest Magic, the last release from Play’n GO was Demon. It was quite a departure from games like Hugo’s Adventure, Firefly Frenzy, and even Rich Wild and the Tome of Madness.

Demon is a branded game to honor British heavy metal band Demon. The 1970s group was likened to Def Leppard and Motorhead and had a tremendous fan base around the world.

Play’n GO created a game that mimics a Demon live concert, and the soundtrack features Demon’s hit “Devil Rides Out.” This will be on a new album from Demon to be released soon. It only plays in the game after 100 real-money spins are played.

The 5×3 game features free spins and 30 paylines.

Heavy metal symbols take over the reels. Three amulets unlock free spins, which can come with multipliers from 2x to 8x. If the amulets appear on the first and fifth reels, however, they awards Hell Spins with a multiplier and wild mask symbols to enhance the wins.

Play’n GO’s release of Demon shook things up in the fall months and showed the developer’s diversity and innovation. Not only was the band a part of the creative process of the game, it embodies the heavy metal movement and brings players into the game.

This has been a big hit with many Canadian online casino players who have a penchant for the heavy metal music era.

For those unfamiliar or seeking a quiet experience, Rainforest Magic is probably the most appropriate choice for a calmer and more traditional slot game.
