Graphics and design
At first glance, Mega Moolah clearly reflects its 2006 release date, but it still holds up reasonably well for a progressive slot of that era. The visuals aren’t comparable to modern 3D releases, yet the design has a certain old-school charm. The warm colour palette and safari backdrop do a good job of setting the tone.
The game runs on a traditional 5×3 grid against a savanna sunset, with wildlife imagery woven into the background. Lions, elephants, monkeys, and zebras appear as part of the symbol set, reinforcing the African theme without overwhelming the screen.
The audio design complements the setting nicely. Subtle ambient sounds play as the reels spin, and the music builds slightly when wins land. It’s not overly dramatic, but it supports the theme well enough and keeps the session flowing without distraction.
