The Kahnawake permit-holders list is the right place to verify a license, but it can disagree with a casino’s footer in both directions. Two real examples from our experience show why you should check both:
- Punterz still appears on the Kahnawake permit-holders list, but its live footer tells a different story: it is operated by a Costa Rican company under an Anjouan license (ALSI-022307003-FI2), and the only clickable seal on the site is the Anjouan one. So Punterz operates under Anjouan today, and the Kahnawake entry is a legacy listing the register has not cleared. The lesson: trust the live seal and footer over a name on a list. - Casino Days is the reverse case. It holds a Kahnawake license that appears on the Commission’s register, and it is also registered with iGaming Ontario and listed on Alberta’s registered iGaming sites, yet it does not print the Kahnawake license in its website footer. A missing footer badge does not always mean no license; here the register is the proof. In both cases the rule is the same: check the footer and the register, and believe the one you can verify.
