New Online Casino Slot Game: Tiki Mania by Microgaming

Microgaming has been releasing new games on a fast-and-furious level, especially as the year comes to an end. The latest Microgaming online casino slot game title is Tiki Mania, the perfect antidote to those already missing summer.

Fortune Factory Studios

Through a partnership with Fortune Factory Studios, Tiki Mania was developed exclusively for Microgaming. And it’s a party with Hawaiian Princess Kaia at the helm.

Fortune Factory Head of Game Production Phelan Sykes said the creation of the tropical world of the game was enjoyable. “We can’t wait for players to experience Tiki Mania, the Hawaiian party serving up exciting mechanics and colourful graphics and offering the potential for huge rewards.”

And Microgaming Director of Global Operations called Tiki Mania a “high-energy and colourful slot game” with “vibrant visuals.” He emphasized the excitement of the game’s features, “which include Nudging Multiplier Wilds and respins” that offer high win potential.

Tiki Mania Basics

Multiple features make Tiki Mania a consistently exciting online slot game. There may only be 10 paylines on this 5-reel slot, but features like Nudging Wild Respins and Nudging Multiplier Wilds improve winning odds.

Speaking of winning, players can win up to 1000x the original bet. That is the grand jackpot, with the minor jackpot always at 50x the bet.

The island music captures the player’s attention from the start, with a ukulele and tribal drums creating a tropical tune to set the mood. Palm trees sway above the reels, and the waves lap on the beach in the background, giving it a soothing overtone.

Tiki Mania Payouts

Players can choose to bet as low as one coin at $0.01 value, which creates a $0.10 minimum bet for the 10 paylines. Betting the max of 10 coins at that $0.01 coin size puts the bet at $1.00. And the maximum coin size is $1.00, for a max bet of $100.00 per spin.

With the bet set at $1.00 per spin, the following payouts are listed for hitting five of each symbol:

  • Hawaiian drums = $30.00
  • Hawaiian guitar = $10.00
  • Flowers = $7.50
  • Coconuts = $5.00
  • A or K = $2.50 each
  • Q or J = $1.50 each

The tikis, which are the stone carvings in multiple colors, serve as the wilds in Tiki Mania. They each have different values:

  • Red tiki = regular wild, substituting for all symbols except scatters
  • Blue tiki = 1x multiplier and wild
  • Green tiki = 2x multiplier and wild
  • Yellow/orange tiki = 3x multiplier and wild

How to Play Tiki Mania

There are many features to look for in Tiki Mania.

First, let’s get into the wilds a bit more. The Red Tiki Wild will only appear on the second or fourth reels, but even if it only partially lands on the reel, it will nudge to fill that reel. That red tiki also triggers a free respin with the tiki wild holding its place.

The other tikis, each of which offer a multiplier, are available in respins and during the free spins of the bonus round. They also nudge into place on the entire reel to ensure maximum benefits.

Second, there is the Jackpot Feature. Any time a red tiki lands, he brings along the chance to trigger the jackpot option, which consist of a grand jackpot to 1,000x the bet or major jackpot to 50x the bet. The red tiki drops gold coins into the shell-covered pot atop the reels. When the pot is full, it shakes as if ready to explode. It then drops down, and it randomly chooses the 50x payout or the 1000x jackpot.

Keep in mind that the tikis like to dance. They don’t get too crazy, but they like to celebrate wins.

Third, the scatter triggers free spins. Princess Kaia’s photo is the scatter symbol, and she may appear on the second, third, or fourth reels in the base game. Three of them trigger 10 free spins and a 2x multiplier on the total bet.

Free spins offer more scatters, this time only on the second or fourth reels, but she need only appear once to add another free spin to the tally shown at the top left.

Tiki Mania Follows Rising Royals

Not even a week before Tiki Mania hit the Canadian online casinos, Microgaming released its latest game created by partner Just For The Win.

Rising Royals is set at the Palace of Versailles, and the French royalty join together to offer features like the Symbol Lock Respin and Symbol Upgrades. As a 20-payline game with 5 reels, this game offers bets as high as $250.00 per spin.

Where to Tiki Mania and Rising Royals

Whether players prefer a tropical setting or the glitter and gold of a French palace, Microgaming casinos offer both for Canadian players.

Jackpot City, Play Amo, and All Slots Casino, are some of those casinos that currently carry Tiki Mania and Rising Royals.
