Gamblit Gaming has partnered with Bandai Namco to bring casino players the Pac-Man inspired real money casino game, Pac-Man Battle Casino. The casino game will be multiplayer where two to four gamblers can wager real money and play the game together.
Pac-Man Battle Casino will debut at the Global Gaming Expo happening in Las Vegas. It will only reach casino floors in 2018. The casino game will be made available through the Model G Interactive tables.
Pac-Man Battle Casino Look
The graphics of the game resemble Pac-Man: Championship; however, it is based on the recent arcade game Pac-Man Battle Royale. This version of the game was launched back in 2011. Player competes by trying to eat the other until only one is left in the last round.
With this casino game version, the basic concept of the game is used with the added real money prizes feature.
Not a First for Bandai Namco
Bandai Namco is not new to the casino gambling. Back in July, the company scored a deal with GameCo to bring Soulcalibur II to local casinos. The game is one of the most popular and highly ranked fighting games. The plan is to create a skill-based game available on the Video Game Gambling Machines (VGM) units. Soulcalibur II will start appearing at local casinos late 2017.
GameCo is a rival of Gamblit and has a presence at the Choctaw Casino & Resort. At the casino, they have eight VGM units. The decision to have these gaming machines at the casino came after Gamblit Gaming added their Model G tables at the Downstream Casino Resort.
Darion Lowenstein, Chief Marketing Officer at Gamblit Gaming, said that Pac-Man had been a huge part of many people’s childhood and they are bringing it to the modern arcade which is the casino.
The game has always been popular and many people still enjoy playing it. With the technological progress, players can access it on their smartphones. We will have to wait and see if the casino game will live up to the classic game that is Pac-Man.
