Craps may be a game of chance, but even a game such as this follows a distinct set of rules by which to play the game. First of all, the player or “shooter” must establish a “point” on the table by attempting to roll a 7 or an 11 on the dice whilst betting on the Pass Line. This is called a Coming Out roll. If the numbers 4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10 are rolled instead, a point is established. Then, the shooter needs to “Make a Point” by attempting to re-roll the number which he or she has established as a point. If the Point number is rolled, the player wins. If the 7 is rolled, the player loses.

Secondly, the shooter rolls according to a set of Pass Line bets which appear respectively in a clockwise direction around the Craps table. These bets include Pass Line Bets, whereby the player bets on rolling a 7 or an 11, or, alternatively, one’s Point number, Don’t Pass bets, which bet on the shooter rolling a 2, a 3 or a 12 during the Come Out bet, a Come Bet, which is executed after one has established a Point number, and many more.
